Job Description Summary:

PayPal is looking for an executive assistant to support our SVP, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, and their global teams in a fast paced, constantly changing environment. Job Description:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

•             Heavy executive calendar management and complex planning

•             Make complex travel arrangements made expeditiously and accurately

•             Prepare and track expense reports, purchase orders and contracts

•             Project manage all logistics for team meetings, off-sites and events

•             Anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems independently

•             Proactively identify opportunities to make the overall team more efficient over the long term.

•             Follow up on action items on behalf of the executives, as appropriate

•             Provide effective and expeditious meeting coordination including agendas, notes and follow-up

•             Establish, schedule and support the team’s management operating routines including staff meetings and leadership off sites

•             Handle special projects as they arise

 

Qualifications:

•             Proven ability to independently exercise sound judgment and take initiative, both on behalf of and in support of executive staff

•             Capable of building strong relationships with other individuals and departments in order to accomplish tasks and achieve goals.

•             Strong team player and trusted confidante to senior leaders

•             The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with little supervision

•             Outstanding planning and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

•             High degree of flexibility and adaptability

•             Respect for confidentiality and discretion to properly handle sensitive information

•             Ability to confidently interface with executive-level contacts inside and outside the company

•             A “can-do” attitude that focuses on getting the job done with politeness and good cheer

•             Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with different time zones

•             8+ years relevant work experience supporting at the SVP or VP level in a complex and dynamic environment

•             Proven competency using MS Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

•             Effective verbal and written English communication skills

•             Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferred

•             Passionate about PayPal with a strong understanding of our products

The U.S. national hourly pay range for this role is

 

$16 to $55
